Parking:
A four-level parking garage is located on the west side of Union Station. Parking is free with a validated ticket from Science City, KC Rail Experience, traveling exhibits, or any of the theaters. Please ask about validation at the ticket counter. For all other visitors, parking is free for the first three hours and then $1 for each additional half hour. Limited short-term parking is also available in front of the building. Please insert cash into the honor boxes.

ONGOING ACTIVITIES

Half-Pint Science
Every Thursday | 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Included with admission

Special activites for little scientists ages 3 through 7 years old. Examples of Half-Pint Science activities include: exploring your senses (putting your nose, hearing, sight and sense of touch to the test); playing dress-up (a proven way to help young brains explore their roles and the roles of other people in the world); and art projects (designed to develop motor skills while reinforcing basic science concepts).

 

FAMILY SCIENCE DISCOVERIES

Try bold experiments in family fun by attending these all-new classes. Send some quality time with your kids getting into science. Family Science Discoveries are also great for youth groups and home school groups.
